Alumni Access
It is easy to participate!
To contact another alum, click the “Search Other Alumni” link below.
To volunteer to be a resource for current or former students, click on “Register” at the left-hand side of this page. Current or former students can search the online database, however, they are not able to see any contact information. Participants can search by looking up any of the following: specific major, geographic location, “keyword” search by company name, job title or responsibilities.
A current or former student completes a registration form that provides for our office and it provides you some information about their occupational interests, career goals, etc. when they request to contact you.
Through the Ask-an-Alum database, you login to your account and decide if the participant can contact you. The purpose of the Ask-an-Alum Program is to allow current or former students to conduct informational interviews, not request job referrals. We provide links to handouts and encourage them to prepare by reading the information before they talk to you!
Participants can range from undecided students who are trying to gather information about what your job entails to students seeking information concerning what can be done with a specific major; or he or she may be a recent grad looking for career advice or an alum looking at a career change.
